NOAH WAGNER is an award-winning director, writer, producer and editor. Through a lyrical lens and an eye for the absurd, he specializes in ‘grounded genre’—everything from magical realism to science fiction, moody atmosphere to playful whimsy and any permutation in between—always building a world rooted in our own.
His work has appeared on HBO, NETFLIX, BBC, VIMEO STAFF PICKS and THE NEW YORKER, and his commercial clients include PEPSI, NICKELODEON and ANHEUSER-BUSCH. His films have won numerous awards at Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide, including his latest effort for Gunpowder & Sky— existential AI thriller Watch Room (starring Mamoudou Athie and Jacob Batalon). He’s also worked in varying capacities for – among others – THE DAILY SHOW, BLUE MAN GROUP and HBO, where he spent close to a decade creating video, VR, and digital content in support of docus, sports, and series such as WESTWORLD, SILICON VALLEY, BALLERS and GAME OF THRONES.
